Dan McDaniel’s The Ultimate Guide to Success is one of the most inspirational books that I’ve ever read. I feel so energized and transformed. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I truly can achieve my goals. If there is a formula for success, this is it. Before I even wrote this review, I recommended this book to three of my closest friends.

He includes case studies of famous and not-so-famous people who mostly started from nothing and reached high levels of success. Some of these people achieved incredible things. What they had in common was that they developed an unshakeable faith in themselves and had a strong purpose. They never gave up. Either they were going to reach their goals or they were going to die trying. That’s the intensity that you need when you develop a strong purpose. They made sacrifices. They ignored criticisms from negative people. They were willing to fail and try again.

There are only ten steps in this book. Not all of the information is new, but even the stuff I knew bears repeating. I already knew how to write goals using the S.M.A.R.T. formula, but honestly, I don’t consistently write my goals that way. I know that when you do, your chances of achieving that goal grow exponentially. I got lazy and stuck in my old ways, but those days are gone. This book is going to be a great reference for me as I follow each step.

It’s easy to get stuck in a life that’s comfortable, but doesn’t feed your spirit. You get to a point where you feel like you’re dying inside because you haven’t tried achieving your biggest goals in life. Maybe you’re scared or you don’t quite believe in yourself yet. Maybe you’re not sure where to begin because the thought of getting started is so overwhelming. If that’s you, then I recommend that you read this book. This book will help you to identify your limiting beliefs and tell you how to change them. It’ll teach you how to connect with people to bring you a step closer to your goal. The author even has a workbook to accompany this book that you can buy here. I learned so much from this book. When I finished, I felt like I had a master plan to reach my goals. The next step is to get started and to keep the momentum going.
